Basically, I’m tired of sweating. We don’t have a/c’s over here, since summer doesn’t usually get this hot in Switzerland. But I really wouldn’t mind having this VITEO shower plate on my balcony. Australian designer Danny Venlet and VITEO developed the shower spray, that is activated by your own body weight and rises in an arc up to 4 metres in the air and rains gently down above your head! Can we get this for the office, please!
It’s 1. August, in case you didn’t know, we are celebrating the Swiss independence day! For that reason I want to share a bit of Swiss design history. This Herbert Matter Tourist poster symbolizes the time when photography took over in graphic design. Matter was a Swiss photographer and graphic designer, known for his pioneering use of photomontage in commercial art. His innovative and experimental work helped shape the vocabulary of 20th-century graphic design.
